Mutabik Lehem (Arabic Paratha)
Ingredients for dough:
- Plain flour β 2 cup
- Chapatti flour β 1 cup
- Baking powder β 1 tsp
- Ghee or oil β 3 tbsp
- Water β 3 cups
- Salt β to taste
Ingredients for filling:
- Mince β 500g
- Oil β 3 tbsp
- Salt β to taste
- Onion β 1
- Boiled eggs β 5
- Cheddar cheese β 1 cup
- Mint β 4 tbsp
- Fresh coriander β 4 tbsp
- Crushed black pepper β to taste
Method:
- Take pan, put oil and add chopped onion, sautΓ©.
- Then add mince and fry on little high flame, and add salt and water.
- Cook until mince is done and water dries.
- Then add black pepper, fresh copped coriander and chopped mint, mix well and let it cool down.
- Now roll roti, put mince, then chopped eggs, then cheese and make pocket.
- Fry on skillet like parathas with little ghee, until both sides are golden brown.
- Cut in middle and serve.
