Tempura Recipe belongs to Japan. Tempura Recipe is a dish of seafood or vegetables that have been battered and deep fried. Sea food lovers like Prawn Tempura Recipe. Tempura flour mixture is easily available in worldwide supermarkets. This is generally light flour, and occasionally contains leaveners such as baking powder. But now you can make it at home.
Prawn tempura
Ingredients:
- Jumbo prawn – 800gm
- Ginger, garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
- Black pepper – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Red crushed chilli – 1 tbsp
- Soya sauce – 1 tbsp
Method:
Mix all ingredients in prawn and leave at least for 1 hour then fry in a little bit oil and serve in sizzling plate with onion and with any sauce or you can make prawn tempura then dip in below mixture and fry and serve with sauce.
Mixture for tempura
- Egg – 1
- Vegetable oil – ½ cup
- Cold water – 1 cup
- Black pepper – 1 tsp
- Baking powder – 2 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Flour – 250gm (with 1 tsp corn flour)
Method:
Take a bowl, add egg and beat then put cold water during beating put oil, salt and baking powder. Then put flour mixture slowly and beat, then leave it for 1 hour and then dip fried prawn and deep fry until light golden.
