Prawn with Rice

Ingredients for Vegetable Rice:

  1. Rice – 2 cup
  2. Capsicum – ½ cut in julienne
  3. Carrot – ½ cut in julienne
  4. Onion – ½ thinly sliced
  5. Salt – to taste
  6. Black pepper – 1 tsp
  7. Tomato – 2 chopped
  8. Green chillies – 3
  9. Parsley – ½ bunch
  10. Spring onion – ½
  11. Oil – 3 tbsp

Method:

  • Take a pan, put oil and sauté onion.
  • Then add capsicum and carrots, fry a bit, then add water and cook until it starts boiling.
  • Then add salt, black pepper and soaked rice and cook until water dries.
  • Then put tomato, green chilli and parsley, cover and put on dum for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Serve with prawns.

Ingredients for Prawns:

  1. Prawns – 375 g
  2. Oil – 2 tbsp
  3. Garlic – 2 clove
  4. Carrot – ½
  5. Capsicum – ½
  6. Spring onion – ½
  7. Tomato – 1 seedless
  8. Onion – ½ chopped
  9. Parsley – ½ bunch
  10. Salt – to taste
  11. Black pepper – 1 tsp

Method:

  • Take a wok, add oil and chopped garlic, fry until light brown.
  • Then add prawns and fry on high heat until it becomes white in colour.
  • Then add all vegetables, salt, black pepper and stir fry on high heat (don’t over cook).
  • Serve with rice.
