Rice kheer recipe is a dessert made in many countries and cultures around the world. It is a simple recipe to make, it consists of cooking the rice with milk and sugar and, later, serving it cold or warm in a bowl. Do try this rich and creamy kheer, no need to add khoya, condensed milk or caramelized sugar. Very simple ingredients with easy steps.

Rice Kheer Recipe

Rabri Kheer: English – Urdu Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. Milk – 2 litre
  2. Rice – 1/2 cup soaked
  3. Sugar – 1/2 cup
  4. Evaporated milk – 1/2 cup
  5. Green cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
  6. Salt – 1/4 tsp
  7. Chopped nuts – as required

Keto Saffron Barfi

Method:

  • In a pan, add milk, evaporated milk and cardamom powder. Bring to boil.
  • Add soaked rice and cook on low heat until milk reduces and rice is tender.
  • Then add sugar and salt, and cook on low heat until kheer become thickens.
  • Add half of the chopped nuts. Let it cool down.
  • Garnish with remaining nuts and serve.
