How to Make Evaporated Milk: English – Urdu Recipe

Ingredients for Rabri Milk:

  1. Full Cream milk – 300 ml
  2. Evaporated milk – 200 ml
  3. Green cardamoms – 3
  4. Saffron powder – 1 pinch
  5. Sugar – 3 tbsp
  6. Mixed chopped nuts – 2 tbsp

Method to Make Rabri Milk for Soft Rasmalai Recipe

  • Add milk in a pan, bring to boil, then add cardamoms, saffron, sugar and chopped nuts.
  • Let it cook until it thickens a little bit.
  • Then set aside and let it cool down. In the meantime, prepare chenna or paneer.

How to Make Rabri at Home: English – Urdu Recipe

Ingredients for Sugar Syrup:

  1. Water – 500 ml
  2. Sugar – 2 cups
  • In a separate pan, add sugar and water. Let it cook until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens.

Ingredients for Chenna or Paneer:

  1. Full cream milk – 500 ml
  2. Semi skimmed milk – 500 ml
  3. Vinegar – 2 tbsp + 2 tbsp water
  4. Plain flour – 1 tsp
  5. Semolina – 1 tsp

Method:

  • Boil milk in a pan over high heat, then gradually add vinegar until the milk curdles properly. Then add some cold water to reduce the temperature of paneer.
  • Now strain this curdled milk with muslin cloth and wash under running water to remove vinegar. Remember to squeeze well.
  • Now place paneer in a wide plate or on work top and rub gently with the palm of your hand. Add semolina and plain flour.
  • Make around 8 to 10 small balls with this paneer using light hands. Press each ball to let out water and put them in the sugar syrup. First cook them on high flame, then when the balls inflate, lower the flame and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Then place these balls in cold water to let them cool down completely.
  • Then add these balls in rabri milk and garnish with nuts. Chill and serve.
