Spicy Shami Kabab Recipe
Reshmi Kabab Recipe: English – Urdu
Ingredients:
- Bengal gram – 250 gm
- Mince – ½ kg
- Onions – 2 medium
- Eggs – 2
- Large green chillies – 3 to 4
- Dry red pepper – 6 to 8
- Fresh coriander – ¼ bunch
- Mint -1/4 bunch
- Oil – ¼ cup
- Garlic cloves – 5
- Chopped ginger – 2 tbsp
- Black pepper – ½ tsp
- Green cardamom – 4
- Big cardamom – 2
- Cinnamon – 1 stick
- Dry red chilli – big 4 or small 15
- Star anise – 1
- Bay leaf – 1
- Cloves – 12
- Salt – to taste

Method:
- Firstly, Heat 2-3 tbsp oil in one pan, chop ginger and garlic and roast it for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Then add all spice, dry red pepper, and fry for 1 minute, then add 1 sliced onion and soaked Bengal gram roast it for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Now add 1 cup water and salt, keep on simmer.
- Check after 15 to 20 minutes. When lentil is tendered, cook on high flame and dry water well.
- Now take out, grind in chopper, take out in bowl, add 1 onion slice, coriander and mint, green chilies, mix it and make round kebabs.
- Now beat eggs. Heat oil in one pan, dip kebabs in eggs and shallow fry it.
- Spicy shami kabab is ready.
