Steam Chicken Roast Chef Mehboob Khan
On this Eid Ul Fitr, we can cook this delicious and healthy steam chicken roast. This is the healthy version for those who want to reduce fat intake in their diet. You can deep fry after steam and sprinkle some chaat masala on top for rich and crispy look but it is totally optional. Otherwise, just steaming it is fine. Personally, I like roast either steamed or baked. You can serve it with salad or any kind of plain rice such as zeera rice or garlic rice.

How to Make Mughlai Chicken Roast: English – Urdu Recipe
Ingredients:
- Whole chicken – 1 without skin
- Roasted crushed dry coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
- Roasted crushed cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Yogurt – 1 cup
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice – 4 tbsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala powder – 1 tbsp

Method:
- In a bowl, add yogurt, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, crushed cumin seeds and dry coriander. Mix well.
- Make deep cuts on chicken. Apply this masala on chicken and leave for 4 to 5 hours.
- Steam chicken in 20 to 25 minutes in steamer.
- Take it out and sprinkle some extra virgin olive oil and serve with salad and lemon slices.
