Chicken Shami Kabab Recipe

Ingredients:
- Chicken mince – 1 kg
- Chana daal – 250 gm
- Bay leaves – 2
- Green cardamoms – 4
- Big cardamoms – 2
- Cinnamon sticks – 1″ stick
- Cumin seeds – 2 tbsp
- Black pepper – 1 tsp
- Cloves – 2
- Ginger garlic paste – 3 tbsp
- Whole dry red chilies – 15 to 20
- Medium onion – 2 sliced
- Potato – 2 roughly chopped
- Nutmeg powder – 1 pinch
- Mace powder – 1 pinch
- Salt – 1 1/2 tsp or to taste
How to Make Lachay dar Shami Kabab: Urdu – English
Method:
- Take a pan, add all above ingredients along with water and cook on medium heat until everything is tender and water dries.
- When its done, discard cinnamon sticks, cloves, green cardamom, big cardamom and bay leaves from cooked mince.
- Let it cool down, make round kebabs, dip in lightly beaten egg and shallow fry from both sides until light golden brown.
- Serve with salad and chutney.
