How to Make Mint Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:

  1. Milk – 2 cups
  2. Salt – 1 pinch
  3. Sugar – 1 tbsp
  4. Chocolate chips – ½ cup (reserve few for garnishing)
  5. Coco powder – 2 tbsp
  6. Cream – 2 tbsp
  7. Whipped cream – as required
  8. Peppermint oil – 2 drops

Method:

Take a pan, add milk, salt, coco powder, chocolate chips, cream and sugar, mix and bring to boil. Take off of the flame and let it cool down for 2 minutes. Then blend in blender. Pour in cups, add peppermint oil and garnish with whipped cream and chocolate chips.

Ingredients:

  1. Evaporated milk chilled – ½ can or 170g
  2. Whipped Cream – 1 ½ cup
  3. Peppermint essence – 1 tsp
  4. Condensed milk – ½ can or 215g
  5. Icing sugar – 4 tbsp
  6. Oreos cookies – ½ cup crushed
  7. Egg whites – 2
  8. Green food colour – few drops

Method:

  • Beat evaporated milk until it doubles in volume.
  • In another bowl beat cream with 2 tbsp icing sugar.
  • In separate bowl beat egg whites with remaining icing sugar until stiff foam.
  • Then in evaporated milk, add condensed milk, food colour and essence.
  • Now fold cream and egg whites with spatula in this mixture, and put this mixture in air tight container for 6 hours.
  • Then take it out from the freezer and add crushed cookies and give a swirl with spoon and freeze again for 6 hours, then serve.
