Perfect and Easy khoya Recipe: English – Urdu

Ingredients:

  1. Eggs – 6
  2. Sugar – 1 cup
  3. Khoya – 375 gm or whole dried milk – 750 gm
  4. Ghee – 1 cup
  5. Green cardamom powder – 1 tsp
  6. Chopped almonds and pistachio – as required

Method:

  • Take a bowl, add eggs, sugar, cardamoms powder, khoya or milk powder and ghee, whisk well.
  • Now heat up a wok and pour in this mixture.
  • Cook on medium flame until the oil separates, then add 1/2 dry fruits in it.
  • Halwa is cooked, grease a dish and place the halwa on it.

Ingredients:

  1. Plain sponge cake – 1
  2. Pineapple slices or mix fruit tin – 1
  3. Vanilla custard powder – 1/4 cup
  4. Sugar – 2 tbsp
  5. Milk – 2 cups
  6. Almond – 1/4 cup fried
  7. Cornflakes – 1/4 cup
  8. Chocolate sauce – 1/4 cup

Method:

  • Take a pan, add milk and sugar, cook and add custard powder and make thick custard.
  • Then arrange cake slices in glass bowl.
  • Then spread fruit juice or pineapple juice, then fruit slices, then custard, then cake slices, then fruit, then chocolate sauce, then again custard.
  • Finally sprinkle fried almond and cornflakes.
  • Heat up the custard in preheated oven and serve hot.
