INGREDIENTS:-
- Chicken🐔Breast – 1 lbs (~1/2 KG)
- Lemon🍋Juice (لیموں کا رس) – 2 tbsp
- Oil🛢(تیل) – 1 tbsp
- Diced Onions🧅🌰 (کٹی ہوئ پیاز) – 4 tbsp (4 TBSP EQUALS TO 1/4 CUP)
- Tomato🍅Purée (ٹماٹر کی پیوری) – 2 tbsp
- Yogurt (دہی) – 1 cup🍵
SPICES:-
Caesar Salad
- Kashmiri Red Chili Powder (NOT SPICY)(کشمیری لال مرچ کا پاوڈر) – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder (ہلدی کا پاوڈر) – 1/2 tsp
- Red Chili Powder (لال مرچ کا پاوڈر) – 1 tsp
- Garam Masala (گرم مصالحہ) – 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder (زیرہ کا پاوڈر) – 1 tsp
- Chaat Masala (چاٹ مصالحہ) – 1 tsp
- Salt🧂(نمک) – 1 tsp
- Red Food Color (ریڈ فوڈ کلد) – 1 Pinch
SALAD🥗(سلاد):-
- Romaine Lettuce Leaves – 3 Heads (IF YOU WANT YOU USE LESS. IF YOU DON’T HAVE LETTUCE LEAVES YOU CAN ADD CABBAGE(بند گوبھی))
- English Cucumber🥒(کھیرا) – 1/2 Slices (IF YOU HAVE REGULAR CUCUMBERS🥒(کھیرا) YOU CAN TAKE THE SKIN OFF IF YOU WANT TO)
- Radishes (لال مولی) – 3 cut in diced
- Red Onions🌰🧅 (لال پیاز) – Little (IF YOU LIKE A LOT👍ADD MORE)
INSTRUCTIONS:-
- In a Zip Lock Bag, add chicken🐔breast. Take a rolling pin to the thick part of the chicken🐔breast and flatten a little bit so it will be easy to cook. Do the same for the other breast too. Put all the spices & lemon🍋juice (لیموں کا رس) into the Zip Lock Bag and mix well.
- Take a pan and turn the flame to MEDIUM-HIGH HEAT.
- Heat up oil🛢(تیل). Add the diced onions🧅🌰 (کٹی ہوئ پیاز) and sauté for 2 minutes. 2 minutes later, take to the side of the pan. Add chicken🐔breast, cover the lid and cook on medium to low flame🔥for 5 minutes. 5 minutes later, uncover the lid and turn the chicken🐔.
- Then add tomato🍅purée (ٹماٹر کی پیوری) on top of diced onions🧅🌰 (کٹی ہوئ پیاز), mix well and cover the lid. Cook for 6 minutes. After cooking for an additional 6 minutes, open the lid and take out the chicken 🐔.
- Turn the flame down.
- Cut the chicken into pieces🐔. Let the chicken cool down. Once it has cooled down, add it into a bowl. Now add the dressing.
- In a bowl, add lightly beaten yogurt (دہی). Now add lemon🍋1/2 squeezed, Salt🧂(نمک) 1/4 tsp, mix together and set aside. Add the masala and mix together.
TANDOORI CHICKEN🐔YOGURT SALAD🥗(سلاد) Serving Idea:-
- Take a platter and make a salad🥗(سلاد)bed by adding chopped lettuce leaves, cucumber🥒(کھیرا), radishes (لال مولی) and red onions🌰🧅 (لال پیاز).
- On top of this salad🥗(سلاد), add tandoori chicken🐔 using tong. Mix the salad around.
