How to Make Mint Chutney in Urdu – English
Ingredients for dough:
- Warm milk – 200 ml
- Warm water – 50 ml
- Yeast – 1 tsp
- Plain flour – 450 gm
- Salt – 1 tsp
Ingredients for stuffing:
Keto Frozen Paratha
- Boiled and mashed potato – 400 gm
- Green chilies – 2 tbsp
- Fresh coriander – 1/2 cup
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Red chilli flakes – 1 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
- Dry fenugreek leaves – 1 tbsp
- Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
- Curry powder 1/2 tsp
- Paprika powder – 1 tsp
- Melted butter – 100 gm (for rolling)
- Ghee – for frying the paratha
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the milk, water and yeast. Mix well.
- Then add flour and salt, and knead until you have a smooth and pliable dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes, green chilies, fresh coriander, salt, coriander powder, red chilli flakes, cumin powder, asafoetida, dry fenugreek leaves, garam masala powder, curry powder and paprika powder. Mix well.
- Divide the dough into equal-sized portions and roll each portion into a ball.
- Flatten the ball with a rolling pin as shown in the video. You have two types of stuffing techniques. Place a sufficient amount of the potato mixture in the center.
- Flatten the stuffed dough ball with a rolling pin into a round shape.
- Heat a skillet or tawa over medium heat.
- Place the flattened dough on the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until it’s golden brown, brushing each side with ghee or oil as it cooks.
- Repeat the process with the remaining dough and potato filling.
- Serve hot with yogurt, pickles, or chutney.
