Haldi  Milk

Ingredients

1 cup Milk
1/2 teaspoon Haldi
1/4 teaspoon Ajwain
1 pinch salt
1/2 teaspoon Pure Ghee

Method
Mix Haldi and salt in Milk and heat the Milk.
Take off from the heat and pour in a cup and add Ghee and Ajwain into it and stir well.
Serve Hot. Haldi Milk is extremely helpful and very effective in Cough and sour throat.
You can have it twice a day and especially before going to bed.
Haldi Milk will sooth your throat and will give relief in soar throat.

Sometimes girls complain of body ache after a long day of jumping and running in school which is invariably on the hottest day of the month. Then give them a glass of warm milk with haldi and it really helps. Milk with haldi is also good for preventing and curing pimples. A mixture of honey and haldi is a time tested remedy for sore throats. Gargling with warm water to which salt and haldi is added, works well too.

Another interesting way to benefit from haldi is to take it in the form of tea.

Haldi tea,

Boil water, add haldi powder, grated ginger (or cardamom pods work well too), little sugar. Add some milk. Let it simmer for a few more seconds. Enjoy.
