How to Cook Murgh Do Piyaza, English / Urdu Recipe

Murgh Do Piyaza


Boneless chicken – ½ kg
Tomato – 250g
Green chilli – 6
Fresh coriander – ½ bunch
Oil – ½ cup
Onion – 375g or 2 medium sizes
Onion seeds (kalwanji) – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Salt – ½ tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp


Take a pan, add oil and sauté onion and green chilli, and take it out from the oil. In same oil add chicken and ginger garlic paste, fry a bit, then add kalwanji, coriander powder, salt and turmeric powder and fry well. Then add chopped tomato, cover and let it cook until chicken done well. Then fry on high heat until water dries. Then add fried onion, green chillies, fresh chopped coriander and garam masala, cover for 2 minutes. Serve hot.
