Murgh Do Piyaza

Ingredients:

  1. Boneless chicken – ½ kg
  2. Tomato – 250 g
  3. Green chilli – 6
  4. Fresh coriander – ½ bunch
  5. Oil – ½ cup
  6. Onion – 375 g or 2 medium sizes
  7. Onion seeds (kalwanji) – ½ tsp
  8. Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  9. Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
  10. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  11. Salt – ½ tsp
  12. Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp

Method;

  • Take a pan, add oil and sauté onion and green chilli, and take it out from the oil.
  • In same oil add chicken and ginger garlic paste, fry a bit, then add kalwanji, coriander powder, salt and turmeric powder and fry well.
  • Then add chopped tomato, cover and let it cook until chicken done well.
  • Then fry on high heat until water dries.
  • Then add fried onion, green chillies, fresh chopped coriander and garam masala, cover for 2 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
