Seekh Kabab Handi Masala

Tasty Seekh kabab handi masala recipe with gravy shared by Marium Hamid.

Ingredients:

  1. Mince – ½ kg
  2. Crushed dry coriander – 1 tsp
  3. Fried crushed cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  4. Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
  5. Garam masala powder – 1 ½ tsp
  6. Bread slices – 2 (soaked in water)
  7. Chilli powder – 1 ½ tsp
  8. Salt – 1 ½ tsp
  9. Egg – 1

Method

  • Marinate mince with dry coriander, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, garam masala powder, bread slices, chilli powder, salt and egg, mix and make into seekh kebabs.
  • BBQ on skewers and keep aside.

Ingredients for masala

  1. Onion – 1 large boiled with ¼ cup of water, ½  tsp turmeric powder and and blend
  2. Coconut milk powder – 2 tbsp
  3. Chilli powder – 1 ½ tsp
  4. Oil – ½ cup
  5. Butter – 100gm
  6. Green chillies – 2 tbsp
  7. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp.
  8. Whipped yogurt – ½ cup
  9. Salt – 1 tsp
  10. Ginger juliennes – 1 tbsp
  11. Garam masala powder –  1 tsp
  12. Tomatoes – 3-4 blended

Method for masala

  • Heat butter and oil, add onion paste, ginger garlic and tomatoes, fry well.
  • Then add chilli powder, salt, coconut powder, yogurt and garam masala, fry well until oil floats on top.
  • Then add cooked seekh kababs and leave it on dam.
  • Garnish with green chillies, coriander leaves and ginger juliennes.
