Baked Keema Samosa Recipe: English – Urdu

Ingredients for Dough:

  1. All purpose flour – 100 gm
  2. Salt – 1/4 tsp
  3. Oil – 2 tbsp

Method for dough:

  • Take a bowl, add carom sedds, salt and oil into the flour, mix and make little bit stiffer dough with water.
  • Cover it and keep it aside for 15 minutes.

Ingredients for filling:

  1. Boiled potato – 250 gm
  2. Peas – 1/2 cup
  3. Green chili -3 to 4 chopped
  4. Ginger – 1 inch fine chopped
  5. Garlic cloves – 7 to 8 fine chopped
  6. Chat masala powder – 1/2 tsp
  7. Amchoor powder – 1/2 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  9. Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  10. Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp
  11. Garam masala powder- 1/4 tsp
  12. Salt – to taste
  13. Fresh coriander – 4 tbsp chopped

Method:

  • Heat up oil in a pan, add green chilli, ginger and garlic, stir fry for 5 seconds.
  • Then add peas, turmeric powder and red chilli powder, cook it for few seconds.
  • Then add potato, garam masala powder, roasted cumin powder, chat masala powder, amchoor powder and salt to taste.
  • Now add fresh coriander, mix it and let it cool completely.
  • Now roll samosa dough and make thin roti and cut in samosa shapes, now fill with filling and close with the help of water and deep fry.
  • Serve hot with green chutney and red chutney.
