Spicy Chana Chaat Recipe
Hot Chana Chaat Recipe: English – Urdu
Ingredients for Chaat:
- Chickpeas – 2 cups
- Onion – 1 chopped
- Tomato – 2 chopped
- Boiled potato – 2 cut in cubes
- Green chilies – 4 thinly chopped
- Sweet yogurt – 1 cup
- Khati meethi chutney – as required
- Green chutney – as required
- Cumin special masala – 2 tbsp
- Chaat masala – according to your taste
- Papdi – as required
Method:
- In a bowl, add chickpeas, onion, tomato, boiled potato, green chili, sweet yogurt, khati meethi chutney, green chutney, cumin special powder, papri and chaat masala.
- Mix and serve.
Green Chutney:
- Fresh coriander – 1 cup
- Mint – 1/4 cup
- Salt – to taste
- Green chili – 5
- Tamarind pulp – 1/4 cup
- Cumin seeds powder – 1 tsp
- Water – 2 tbsp
Blend well.
Khati Meethi Chutney
- Tamarind pulp – 1 1/2 cup
- Sugar – 1/3 cup
- Cumin powder – 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – to taste
Cook until it thickens.
Cumin Special Masala:
- Cumin seeds – 2 tbsp
- Crushed red chili – 1/2 tsp
- Black salt – 1/2 tsp
Grind well.
