Bread and Paneer Pudding is a delicious pudding made with the combinations of sliced white bread, cottage cheese and milk. This is a very nice light dish. Ideal with an evening meal, or even a breakfast with a difference!
Bread and Paneer Pudding
Ingredients:
- Bread slices – 6 to 8
- Cottage cheese – 2 packets
- Fresh milk – 1 liter
- Green Cardamom – 8
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Khoya – 125 gm
- Water – ½ cup
- Raisins – ½ cup
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Corn flour – 2 tbsp
- Oil – as required
- Almond pistachios – as required
Date and Walnut Pudding Recipe
Method:
- Remove the crust of the bread slices.
- Now deep fry bread slices in hot oil till they’re golden brown in colour.
- Remove and keep aside.
- In a pan, put fresh milk, khoya and green cardamoms, cook till it thickens.
- Dissolve corn flour in ¼ cup milk.
- Add corn flour paste to boiling milk and cook for 2 minutes till a thick custard has formed.
- Now make sugar syrup by cooking 1 cup sugar and ½ cup water together.
- Add 2 packets of grated cottage cheese in sugar syrup. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Now in a serving dish, make a layer of prepared custard.
- Arrange fried bread slices on it.
- Sprinkle chopped almond, pistachios and raisins on top.
- Now add sugar syrup.
- Top with remaining custard.
- Garnish with remaining dry fruits and serve.

We don’t need to add sugar in custard because we are already using 1 cup in sugar syrup.
can you suggest me how much grams of cottage cheese is needed
200g is enough, and if you like it more cheesy, you can add more.
