How to Make Dahi Batata Puri in Urdu – English
Ingredients:
- Maash daal – 1/2 cup (soaked overnight)
- Moong daal – 1/4 cup (soaked overnight)
- Rice – 2 tbsp
- Salt – 1/4 tsp
- Ginger – 1 tbsp
- Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
- Red crushed chilli – 1/2 tsp
- Roasted and crushed cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Khatti Meethi Chutney Recipe
Method:
- Put maash daal, moong daal, water, soda, ginger, red crushed chilli and cumin seeds in grinder and grind.
- Then fry in oil until light brown, take it out and place in strainer to drain extra oil.
- Let them cool down at room temperature and freeze in airtight container.
- If you want to serve it right away then after frying let them cool down, add salt in warm water.
- Put fried baray in warm water for 5 minutes.
- Then squeeze with light hands and put in prepared yogurt mixture.

- Yogurt – 1/2 kg
- Sugar – 1 tbsp
- Milk – 1/4 cup
- Salt – to taste

- Put yogurt in a bowl, add sugar, milk, salt and mix welll.
- Then spread half yogurt in a wide dish, then place squeezed baray on yogurt, then spread remaining yogurt, pour khati meethi chutney, then red crushed chili, dhai bara masala, fresh coriander and serve.
