Bombay Bakery Chocolate Cake

Basically this cake recipe is simple chocolate cake recipe, but it’s delicious due to butter icing. Do try this Yummy and easy bombay bakery chocolate cake.

Ingredients:

  1. Flour – 150gm /6 ounces
  2. Eggs – 4
  3. Vanilla essence – 1 ½ tsp
  4. Caster sugar – 1 cup
  5. Baking powder – 2 tsp
  6. Butter -200gm/ 8 ounces
  7. Coco powder – 25gm /1 ounce

Method:

  • In a bowl, put butter and sugar; beat with electric beater until it becomes cream.
  • Take another bowl and strain flour, coco powder and baking powder.
  • Now add eggs one by one with 1 tbsp of dry mixture and beat well along with vanilla essence.
  • Now add remaining dry mixture, mix with spatula.
  • Transfer this mixture in 9”x9” square cake pans and bake in preheated oven at 180ºC, 350ºF and Gas Mark 4 for 40 minutes.
  • When it’s done, let it cool down completely.
  • Then fill with Icing and decorate with chocolate glazed icing and serve.Bombay Bakery Chocolate Cake
