How to Make Dhaba White Karahi: English – Urdu Recipe
Dhaba White Karahi
Ingredients:
- Chicken – 1 kg
- Oil or ghee – ½ cup
- Green chillies – 6
- Ginger flaks – 4 tbsp
- Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Green chilli paste – 2 tbsp
- Yogurt – 250g
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp (fried and grounded)
- Crushed black pepper – 1 tsp
- Cream – 2 tbsp
- Garam masala – ½ tsp
Method:
- Take a wok and put oil, heat it up, then add ginger garlic paste, salt, cumin seeds, ginger flaks 2 tbsp, black pepper, green chilli paste and 1 tbsp of water, fry a bit and add chicken and fry until it becomes a white colour.
- Then add yogurt and cook until the chicken tenders and the water dries.
- When it’s done, add chopped green chillies, garam masala powder, lemon juice and cream, mix well. Garnish with ginger flaks.
- Serve with tandoori naan and enjoy!
