
How to Make Machli Ka Salan
Ingredients for fish marination:
- Fish -1/2 kg
- Turmeric – ½ tsp
- Lemon juice – 3 tbsp
- Garlic – 1tbsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Oil – 4 tbsp
Method for fish marination:
Apply lemon juice, red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder and garlic on fish and leave for 30 minutes. Now heat up 4 tbsp oil and fry for 5 minutes from both sides. take it out from the oil.
Ingredients for gravy:
- Onion – 2 big
- Oil – ¼ cup
- Red chili powder – 1 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Ginger paste – 1 tbsp
- Roasted coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
- Roasted carom seeds – 1 tsp
- Roasted Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Curry leaf – ½ bunch
- Green chili – 10
- Coriander fresh – ½ bunch
- Ginger flaks – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Method:
Then take a separate pan, add oil and fry onion until golden brown, then ginger paste mix and fry. Then add chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin, dry fried coriander, carom seeds, salt, mix and add 2 cups of water, let it cook until gravy is done. Then add fried fish, green chilies, curry leaves and ginger flaks, cover and cook more for 5 minutes. Garnish Machli ka Salan with fresh coriander and serve.
