Nathia Gali Chargha
Ingredients:
- Chicken – 1 whole 1kg
- Fried and ground whole red chillies – 20
- Fried and ground dry coriander seeds – 2 tbsp
- Fried and ground cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Ghee or oil – ¾ cup
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Yogurt – 1 cu
- Green cardamom ground with skin – ½ tsp
- Salt – 1 ½ tsp
- Garam masala powder – 1 ½ tsp
- Ginger garlic paste – 3 tsp
Method:
- Wash chicken and give deep cuts. Then take a bowl, add fried and ground spices, haldi, green cardamom, yogurt, salt, ghee or oil, garam masala powder, salt and ginger garlic paste, mix well.
- Apply this marination on chicken inside and outside.
- Tie chicken legs with thread. Leave for 4 to 5 hours or for better result leave overnight.
- Then put this chicken with marination, cover and cook on low heat for 35 to 40 minutes. Then serve this yummy nathia gali chargha.
