Nathia Gali Chargha

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken – 1 whole 1kg
  2. Fried and ground whole red chillies – 20
  3. Fried and ground dry coriander seeds – 2 tbsp
  4. Fried and ground cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  5. Ghee or oil – ¾ cup
  6. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  7. Yogurt – 1 cu
  8. Green cardamom ground with skin – ½ tsp
  9. Salt – 1 ½ tsp
  10. Garam masala powder – 1 ½ tsp
  11. Ginger garlic paste – 3 tsp

Method:

  • Wash chicken and give deep cuts. Then take a bowl, add fried and ground spices, haldi, green cardamom, yogurt, salt, ghee or oil, garam masala powder, salt and ginger garlic paste, mix well.
  • Apply this marination on chicken inside and outside.
  • Tie chicken legs with thread. Leave for 4 to 5 hours or for better result leave overnight.
  • Then put this chicken with marination, cover and cook on low heat for 35 to 40 minutes. Then serve this yummy nathia gali chargha.
