Punjabi Style Samosa Recipe
Baked Keema Samosa Recipe: English – Urdu
Ingredients for Dough:
- All purpose flour – 100 gm
- Salt – 1/4 tsp
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Method for dough:
- Take a bowl, add carom sedds, salt and oil into the flour, mix and make little bit stiffer dough with water.
- Cover it and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
Aloo Kay Chatpatay Samosay in Urdu – English
Ingredients for filling:
- Boiled potato – 250 gm
- Peas – 1/2 cup
- Green chili -3 to 4 chopped
- Ginger – 1 inch fine chopped
- Garlic cloves – 7 to 8 fine chopped
- Chat masala powder – 1/2 tsp
- Amchoor powder – 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder- 1/4 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Fresh coriander – 4 tbsp chopped
Method:
- Heat up oil in a pan, add green chilli, ginger and garlic, stir fry for 5 seconds.
- Then add peas, turmeric powder and red chilli powder, cook it for few seconds.
- Then add potato, garam masala powder, roasted cumin powder, chat masala powder, amchoor powder and salt to taste.
- Now add fresh coriander, mix it and let it cool completely.
- Now roll samosa dough and make thin roti and cut in samosa shapes, now fill with filling and close with the help of water and deep fry.
- Serve hot with green chutney and red chutney.
