Spicy Mutton Biryani
How to Make BBQ Raita in Urdu – English
Ingredients:
- Rice – 750 g
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Green cardamom – 4
- Whole black peppers – 5 – 6
- Salt – 1 tbsp
- Green chillies – 4 – 5
- Fresh coriander – 2 tbsp
Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani Recipe
Korma:
- Mutton – 1 kg
- Oil – 3/4 cup
- Onions – 2 medium sized (chopped)
- Ginger garlic – 1 tbsp each
- Tomatoes – 2 medium sized (chopped)
- Biryani masala – 3 tbsp
- Yogurt – 1 cup
- Brown onions – 3 tbsp
- Lemon slices – to taste
- Milk – 1/4 cup (mixed with few drops of yellow food colour)
- Fried onions – to taste
- Desi ghee – 1 tbsp
Method:
- First, take rice and put it in boiling water, along with oil, cumin seeds, green cardamom, whole black peppers, salt, green chillies and fresh coriander. Once it’s boiled, set it aside.
- Now take another pan and add oil. Once the oil is hot enough, add chopped onions and fry well.
- When the onions turn a light pink, add ginger garlic, fry well, and then add the mutton.
- Cook until the meat’s colour starts to change, and then add tomatoes, yogurt, and biryani masala. Mix well.
- Add some water, and then cover and let it cook on medium heat until the meat is tender.
- Once it’s tender, add brown onions, lemon slices and boiled rice. Spread the rice nicely.
- Now mix milk with yellow food colour, and pour that in.
- Let it fry, then add fried onions, desi ghee, and the leftover fresh coriander.
- Cover and let it cook on low heat for 10 – 15 minutes.
- Enjoy your spicy mutton biryani.
