Ingredients:

  1. Nonfat or low-fat milk – 4 cups
  2. Nonfat or low-fat plain yogurt – 1/4 cup

Method for preparation:

  • Heat milk in a large saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until it is steaming.
  • Carefully pour the milk into a clean, heat-safe 5- to 8-cup container. Let stand, stirring frequently, until cooled
  • Take 1/2 cup of the milk from warm milk and combine yogurt in a small bowl, then stir the mixture back into the warm milk.
  • Cover the container and wrap in a clean kitchen towel to help keep it warm. Place in a very warm place and let stand, undisturbed, until thickened and tangy, at least 8 hours and up to 12 hours.
  • Refrigerate until cold, about 2 hours. The yogurt will thicken a bit more in the refrigerator.

There are a few ways to create a very warm environment for making yogurt.

Oven method: Turn your oven on to 200°F for about 5 minutes, then turn it off.
Add the towel-wrapped container of yogurt and if you have an oven light, turn it on for added warmth.
Cooler method: Place a hot water bottle (or other small container) filled with very hot water alongside the towel-wrapped container in a small cooler.
Heating pad method: Wrap a heating pad set to High around the towel-wrapped container.

Ingredients:

Boiled red kidney beans – 1 cup
Medium onion – 1 chopped
Oil – 3 tbsp
Garlic chopped – 2 tbsp
Fresh coriander chopped – 1/3 bunch
Mint chopped – 1/3 bunch
Green chilli – 4 chopped
Yogurt – 2 cup
Salt – ½ tsp
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp

Method:

Take a pan, put 3 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp chopped garlic and fry until light golden. Then put fried garlic in a bowl, onion, fresh coriander, green chilli, mint, salt, lemon juice and boiled lobia, mix well. Now add lightly blended yogurt and mix well.

•    1 teaspoon lemon juice
•    1 pinch ground cumin
•    1/2 cup plain yogurt
•    1 teaspoon sweet chilli sauce

DIRECTIONS

1.    In a small serving bowl, stir together the cilantro, lemon juice, cumin, yogurt and chilli sauce. Chill for at least one hour, or until needed.
