Kofta Pakoray: English – Urdu Recipe

Kofta Pakoray
Ingredients:
- Chicken mince – 1/2 kg
- Red chili powder – 2 tbsp
- Bread crumbs – 1/2 cup
- Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
- Green chilies – 6
- Salt – to taste
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- Fresh coriander – 1 bunch
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Onion – 1
Method:
- In a chopper, add mince, onion, red chili powder, bread crumbs, baking powder, green chilies, salt, ginger, garlic paste, fresh coriander and turmeric powder, grind well.
- Mixture should be soft and smooth.
- Then take out mixture from chopper and place in fridge for few minutes to settle down.
- Then make balls. Then take a pan, add some water, place on cooker and in warm water add meat balls, cook on high flame until balls are done and water dries, let them cool down completely.
- Now dip in pakora mix and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.
Pakora Mix:
- Gram flour – 2 cups
- Fried ground dry coriander – 1 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Baking powder – 1/4 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
- Mix gram flour, dry coriander, salt, baking powder and red chilli powder in a bowl, make batter with water and use it.
