Pita Sandwich: English – Urdu Recipe
Ingredients:
- Flour 400 gm
- Salt 1 tsp
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Milk 1 cup
Method:
- Mix the flour, salt and oil in a deep bowl, and knead the dough with warm milk.
- Cover and rest for 30 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small parts and roll them,
- Roll out each piece to 5 cm diameter with a rolling pin.
- Combine 3 pieces of dough with olive oil between them.
- Cover them and rest for 5 min.
- Without separating the dough pieces from each other, roll out with a roller pin on a floured counter, with a diameter of about 28 cm,
- Heat a 28 cm non-stick pan over medium heat,
- Cook the lavas leaves one after the other in medium heat.
- Gently pull the pieces apart.
- Let them cool down and then store in Ziplock bag.
