How to Make Dhuwan Dahi Gosht in Urdu – English

Ingredients to Make Smoky Chicken:

  1. Chicken – 1 kg
  2. Onion – 1 big
  3. Oil – 1/4 cup
  4. Salt- to taste
  5. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  6. Chilli flakes – 1/2 tbsp
  7. Cumin powder – 1/2 tbsp
  8. Red chili powder – 1 1/2 tsp
  9. Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
  10. Paprika powder – 1 tsp
  11. Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  12. Blended tomatoes – 2
  13. Kasoori methi – 1 tsp

For garnishing:

Keto Chicken Tajine

  1. Charcoal – 1
  2. Yogurt – 3/4 cup
  3. Chopped green chili – 8 to 10
  4. Onion – 2 cut in rings
  5. Chopped mint – 1 bunch
  6. Fresh coriander – 1/4 cup

Method:

  • Heat up oil and fry onion until golden brown, add ginger garlic paste and chicken. Fry for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Add salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, chilli flakes, red chili powder, paprika and turmeric powder, mix and add blended tomatoes. Fry well.
  • Cover and cook until chicken is tender and water dries.
  • Now add kasoori methi, green chillies, fresh coriander, mint, onion rings, yogurt and fresh corainder.
  • Then on top, place burning charcoal, pour few drops oil, cover for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Serve with hot with plain naan.
  • Enjoy your delicious and flavorful meal!
