How to Cook Tandoori chicken
Ingredients:
- Chicken – 1 (cut in 4 pieces)
- Crushed fried cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Salt – 1 tsp or to taste
- Red chilli powder – 2 ½ tsp
- Garlic ginger paste – 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice – 3 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
- Kashmiri chilli or degi mirch – 2 tbsp
- Yogurt – 1 ½ cup
- Oil – 6 tbsp
- Black pepper – ½ tsp
- Orange food colour – few drops
Method:
- Mix all above ingredients and apply on chicken pieces, leave for 2 hours.
- Bake in preheated oven on 190ºC for 35 to 40 minutes.
- When its done, give smoke of charcoal.
- Serve this yummy chicken with mix vegetable salad and Peshawari chutney.
