Onion Pakora Recipe
Ingredients:
- Gram flour – ½ cup
- Bread crumbs – 1 tbsp
- Potato – 1 (julienne cut)
- Egg – 1
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Onion – 1 (cut in julienne)
- Fried and ground cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1 ½ tsp or to taste
- Garam masala – 1 tsp
- Green chillies – 3
- Baking soda – 1 pinch (only use at frying time)
- Fresh coriander – ½ bunches
Method:
- Take a bowl and put all spices along with gram flour and make a smooth better.
- Then add onion, potato, green chili and fresh coriander, mix well.
- Put oil in a wok.
- Drop small portions of the batter into the oil with your fingers and deep fry on medium heat till golden and crisp.
- Drain and place them on an absorbent paper.
- Serve with mint chutney.
