Step 1: Prepare the Dough

  • In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt.
  • Gradually add warm water and knead to form a soft, smooth dough.
  • Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20-30 minutes.

Step 3: Roll and Layer the Parathas

  • Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.

  • Give them rest for 15 minutes.
  • Then roll it out gently into a circle (about 6-7 inches in diameter) again.

  • Heat a tawa or flat skillet over medium heat.
  • Place the rolled-out paratha on the hot tawa.
  • Cook for about 1-2 minutes. Flip the paratha and apply a little ghee on the cooked side.
  • Flip again and apply ghee on the other side.
  • Cook until both sides are golden brown and crispy, pressing lightly with a spatula to ensure even cooking.

  • Serve the Mint Lachha Parathas hot with pickles, or milk tea.
