Chicken Chana Masala
Ingredients:
- Chicken – 1 kg
- Chick peas – 1 cup
- Onion – 2 medium
- Yogurt – 250g
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
- Cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Ghee – 1 cup
- Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp
- Ginger flaks and fresh coriander – for garnishing
Method:
- Take a pan, put ghee and thinly sliced onion and fry until brown, then add ginger garlic paste and 2 tbsp of water and fry, now add chicken and fry well.
- Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt and mix them well.
- Now add lightly beaten yogurt, mix it well and add chick peas and let it cook until the chicken and chick peas are cooked well.
- When they’re cooked, switch off the cooker and cover it for 5 minutes.
- Serve with ginger flakes and fresh coriander.
