How to Cook Chicken Chana Masala, English / Urdu Recipe

Chicken Chana Masala

Ingredients:
Chicken – 1 kg
Chick peas – 1 cup
Onion – 2 medium
Yogurt – 250g
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Salt – to taste
Ghee – 1 cup
Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp
Ginger flaks and fresh coriander – for garnishing

Method:
Take a pan, put ghee and thinly sliced onion and fry until brown, then add ginger garlic paste and 2 tbsp of water and fry, now add chicken and fry well. Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt and mix them well. Now add lightly beaten yogurt, mix it well and add chick peas and let it cook until the chicken and chick peas are cooked well. When they’re cooked, switch off the cooker and cover it for 5minutes. Serve with ginger flakes and fresh coriander.
