Maghaz Bhuna is a traditional Pakistani and Indian dish made from goat brain (maghaz) that is fried and seasoned with spices.
Brain meat contains omega 3 fatty acids and nutrients.

Maghaz Bhuna Recipe

Rawa Maida Paratha Recipe: English – Urdu

Ingredients:

  1. Lamb brain (maghaz), cleaned and washed – 4
  2. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  3. Oil – 3 tbsp
  4. Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
  5. Onion – 1 thinly chopped
  6. Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tsp
  7. Tomatoes – 2 finely chopped
  8. Paprika powder – 1/2 tsp
  9. Salt – 1/2 tsp
  10. Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
  11. Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  12. Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
  13. Chilli flakes – 1/2 tsp
  14. Green chilies, chopped
  15. Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
  16. Ginger flakes

Keto Almond Roti

Instructions:

  • Add water in the pan and bring to boil. Add turmeric powder in boiling water, add brain and boil for 1 minutes.
  • Strain the brain and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan or skillet over medium heat.
  • Add cumin seeds, stir fry for few seconds. Then add chopped onions to the hot oil and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste to the onions and cook until the raw smell disappears.
  • Now, add chopped tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes become soft and mushy.
  • Add paprika powder, salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder and chilli flakes to the pan. Mix well and cook the spices for a minute.
  • Add the cleaned brain to the pan. Fry well.
  • Garnish with green chillies, fresh coriander and ginger flakes.
  • Serve hot with chapati or parathas.
