Ingredients:

  1. Maida (plain flour) – 3 cups
  2. Warm milk – 1/2 cup
  3. Yeast – 6 gm
  4. Sugar – 1 1/2 tsp
  5. Oil – 1 tbsp
  6. Baking soda – 1 1/2 tsp
  7. Salt – 1 1/2 tsp
  8. Curd – 3/4 cup

Method:

  • In a bowl, add warm milk, yeast, oil and sugar, mix it well.
  • Then add salt, baking soda, plain flour, warm yogurt and make smooth dough.
  • If you need some more milk, feel free to add.
  • Add a bit of oil and then cover it.
  • Leave it for 30 minutes, then divide dough and make balls.
  • Now leave the tawa (skillet) to warm up a bit and roll the dough balls.
  • Apply water to the other side so it sticks to the skillet.
  • Carefully put the naan on the tawa.
  • When you see bubbles starting to form, turn it the other way and turn up the heat.
  • When it’s cooked from both sides, take it out.
  • Make the rest of the naan in the same way.
  • Apply butter (optional) so they look more delicious and beautiful.
