Omelette in a Hole

Today I was getting late for my Dr’s appointment and I searched for a quick and easy breakfast. I found so many recipes like this one, so I tried this extremely delicious recipe that is ready within 5 minutes. I wanted to share it with you as well. Hope you will like this and I’m sure everyone’s already tried it before coz I found tons of recipes with the same method.
You can make this breakfast with any kind of bread, any kind of veggies and any king of cheese that you like.
Omelette in a Hole
Breakfast Egg Sandwich Hack
Ingredients:
- Bread slices – 2
- Eggs – 2
- Salt – to taste
- Black Pepper – to taste
- Fresh red chilies – 2 chopped
- Turkey – 1/4 cup chopped
- Fresh coriander – 2 tbsp chopped
- Yellow capsicum – 1 tbsp chopped
- Red capsicum – 1 tbsp chopped
- Green capsicum – 1 tbsp chopped
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- Shredded cheese – 2 tbsp
- Cheese Slices – 2
- Olive oil or butter for cooking
Keto Bread
Method:
- In a bowl beat eggs with salt and pepper.
- Add fresh red chilies, fresh coriander, all three capsicum and mix it well.
- Using a knife cut out the centre of each slice of bread leaving an outline around the bread crust.
- Heat up pan, spray olive oil, place bread sliced in the pan, pour the egg mixture in the hole, the pour the egg mixture.
- Add shredded cheese, place cheese slices.
- Place the centre of bread over the hole.
- Cook until the bottom is set, flip and cook for 2 minutes more.
