Delicious Chicken Tikka Skewers: English – Urdu Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. Boneless chicken – 350 gm
  2. Oil – 1 tbsp
  3. Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
  4. Garlic powder – 1 tsp
  5. Paprika powder – 1 tsp
  6. Peri Peri salt – 1/2 tsp
  7. Thyme – 1/2 tsp
  8. Oregano – 1/2 tsp
  9. Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  10. Salt – to taste
  11. Lemon Juice – 1/2 tbsp

Garlic butter:

  1. Melted butter – 2 tbsp
  2. Chopped coriander
  3. Chopped garlic
  4. Chilli flakes

Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken for Garlic Chicken Skewers:

  • In a bowl, mix the chicken cubes with olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Let it marinate for at least 15–30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for extra flavour).

Assemble the Skewers:

  • Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving some space between pieces for even cooking.

Preheat the Air Fryer:

Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat for 2–3 minutes.

Cook the Skewers:

  • Arrange the skewers in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and is golden brown.

Serve & Enjoy:

  • Remove the skewers and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  • Serve with tzatziki, garlic sauce, or a side of rice and veggies.
