Air Fryer Garlic Chicken Skewers
Delicious Chicken Tikka Skewers: English – Urdu Recipe
Ingredients:
- Boneless chicken – 350 gm
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
- Garlic powder – 1 tsp
- Paprika powder – 1 tsp
- Peri Peri salt – 1/2 tsp
- Thyme – 1/2 tsp
- Oregano – 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Lemon Juice – 1/2 tbsp
Garlic butter:

- Melted butter – 2 tbsp
- Chopped coriander
- Chopped garlic
- Chilli flakes
Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken for Garlic Chicken Skewers:
- In a bowl, mix the chicken cubes with olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Let it marinate for at least 15–30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for extra flavour).
Assemble the Skewers:
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving some space between pieces for even cooking.
Preheat the Air Fryer:
Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat for 2–3 minutes.
Cook the Skewers:
- Arrange the skewers in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and is golden brown.
Serve & Enjoy:
- Remove the skewers and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve with tzatziki, garlic sauce, or a side of rice and veggies.
