
Chana Daal Gosht
Ingredients:
- Mutton – ½ kg
- Boiled chana daal – 1 cup
- Oil – ½ cup
- Ground fried brown onion – 2
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
- Sugar – 1 tsp
- Yogurt – ½ cup
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
- Blended tomato – 2
- Green chillies – 4
- Salt – to taste
- Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
- Fresh coriander – 2 tbsp
Method:
- Add oil in a pan, fry mutton until light brown along with ginger garlic paste.
- Then add turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt, fry well.
- Now add fried onion and tomato, cover and cook for 5 minutes.
- Then add yogurt and cook until mutton is tender.
- Now add garam masala powder, sugar and boiled daal, cook for 10 more minutes.
- Then add green chili, fresh coriander and ginger, cook on dum for 2 to 3 minutes. Chana daal gosht is ready to serve with chapattis.
I used this recipe to cook today, and everybody liked it. It’s very yummy!
