Iftar Thali recipe is delightful dish for the Ramadan. Iftar Thali can be ready in approximately 30 Minutes and good to serve around 2-4 People. Follow all the steps recommended to get a perfect dish. Prepare everything and place in a wide thali along with sauces and serve.

Ingredients for aloo Samosa:

  1. Wraps – 8-10
  2. Boiled mashed potatoes – 250 gm
  3. Peas – ½ cup
  4. Carrots (Chopped) – 1
  5. Bell pepper (Chopped) – 1
  6. Onion (chopped) – 1
  7. Red chili flakes – 1 tbsp
  8. Garlic paste – 1 tsp
  9. All spice powder – 1 tsp
  10. Carom seeds – ½ tsp
  11. Cumin seeds (roasted) – 1 tsp
  12. Black pepper (crushed) – ½ tsp
  13. Green coriander – ½ bunch
  14. Green chilies – 4-5
  15. Oil – to fry
  16. Salt – to taste

Method for Samosa Filling:

  • Take a bowl, add mashed potato, carrot, capsicum, peas, salt, red chili flakes, green coriander, green chilies, onion, roasted and crushed cumin seeds and carom seeds and mix everything together.
  • Fill in the samosas with the filling and fold it. Fry them on a low flame till golden brown.

Ingredients for fruit chaat:

  1. Mix fruits – ½ kg
  2. Orange Juice – ½ cup
  3. Brown sugar – 2-3 tbsp
  4. Chaat masala – 1 tbsp

Method for fruit chaat:

  • Cut fruits into small chunks, then add in a bowl along with orange juice, brown sugar, chaat masala and mix it well.

Ingreinents for chana chaat:

  1. Boiled chick peas – 150 gm
  2. Boiled potatoes – 1-2
  3. Yogurt – ½ cup
  4. Tamarind paste – 3-4 tbsp
  5. Chaat masala – 1 tbsp
  6. Black Salt – ½ tsp
  7. Salt – to taste

Method for chana chaat:

  • Add tamarind paste, yogurt, chaat masala, black salt and salt in a mixing bowl.
  • Beat all the ingredients to make a sauce.
  • Take a deep serving dish and add boiled potatoes and chick peas in it.
  • Pour over the sauce chana chaat is ready.

Ingredients for Pakoras:

  1. Mix vegetables – 500 gm
  2. Gram flour – 2 cup
  3. Yogurt – ½ cup
  4. Red chili powder – 1 tbsp
  5. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  6. All spice powder – ½ tsp
  7. Baking soda – ½ tsp
  8. Oil – 4 tbsp
  9. Salt – to taste

Method for Pakoras:

  • Cut mix vegetables. Then add salt, baking soda, red chili powder, turmeric powder and all spice powder in a mixing bowl and mix everything with the help of hand.
  • Now add gram flour and mix it well to make a good batter.
  • Heat 4 tbsp oil in the pan and dip the mixed vegetables in the batter and fry it till golden brown.
  • Once fried keep it aside.

  1. If people are wondering that in the samosa’s ingredient it’s says bell pepper and in the preparations it says capsicum it the same thing. In the U.S we says bell pepper not capsicum. So don’t get confused.

    • I heard that their is a Gujarati Thali, Vegetarian Thali, Non-Vegetarian Thali, South Indian Thali, and Arabic Thali. Can you post them too,
